The Life Church-DFW was established with a clear calling to create a Christ-centered community where people can grow in faith and live it out with integrity. What began in homes across the Dallas–Fort Worth area has steadily grown through shared spaces and seasons of uncertainty, but today resides in a permanent home in Richardson, TX. This journey has shaped a church that values consistency and authenticity over spectacle. You’ll find Bible-based teaching that addresses real life challenges, leadership that prioritizes accountability and a culture where people are seen, known and loved, not overlooked.

A group of parents and church members wished (and lots of prayer!) to build a Christian school.
Through their hard work and dedication, the doors of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School opened in the fall of 1983, with 29 students enrolled.
In 1990, a preschool program was added and just two years later plans to commit to a building expansion was voted on.
Ten years after inception, a 1.2 million dollar building addition was dedicated to include 8 classrooms, a school office and the Family Life Center (gym).
We believe in one God, the Father, the almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father. Through Him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation, He came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit He became incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
COVID-19 has had a drastic effect on all our lives, but it has impacted the poor the most. Since the announcement of the lockdown, Breadline Africa has been supporting emergency feeding programmes in poor communities to alleviate hunger.
Our number one purpose is and must always be to share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Without regard to any person’s status, ethnicity, gender or past mistakes we must seek to reach those who do not know Christ.
*Matthew 28:19-20 | Acts 4:12*
We will seek to demonstrate love exemplified by the life of Jesus Christ.
*Matthew 22:37-39 | 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8*
Leadership will constantly strive to be a model of integrity, which means but is not limited to being financially responsible, sexually moral and worthy of trust. We will empower and encourage others through the Word of God to live by the Word of God.
*Titus 2:7-8*
We will consistently strive to be aware of the existential plight of our community and all within it. In that, we will speak to real issues of life and empower people to pursue solutions and guidance through the Word of God.
*Hebrews 4:12 | 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23*
astor Aaron McCardell is a self-proclaimed “PK” (preacher’s kid) who accepted God’s call to ministry in 2003. He is the founding pastor of Life Church-DFW, an independent, non-denominational Christian church that was organized in April of 2016.
TLC began by holding bi-weekly services at homes around the DFW metroplex. In January of 2017, they began meeting weekly in a small building (lovingly referred to as “the little building that could”) in the historic Hamilton Park community of North Dallas where Aaron was raised. After 2 years, God opened a door that had once been shut and blessed them with a new service location.
