Lead Times & Production Rhythm

Every mosaic is handcrafted to order, so production follows the natural rhythm of traditional craftsmanship rather than factory schedules. Sample color chips and custom pattern samples are typically completed in approximately two weeks, plus shipping time. Once a layout is approved, production generally takes 8–12 weeks, with timing influenced by seasonal workloads, artisan availability, and traditional holiday periods in Morocco. After completion, mosaics are carefully packed in protective wooden crates and shipped by air freight, which typically takes 8–10 days, subject to customs clearance. We believe in setting clear expectations from the beginning, providing realistic lead times while respecting the craftsmanship that makes every mosaic unique. This approach allows each project to be completed with the care, precision, and authenticity it deserves.

Applications & Installation

Our mosaics are assembled into large, mesh-mounted panels to simplify installation and reduce material waste, while preserving the integrity of the hand-cut design. Fewer joints mean faster installation, improved pattern alignment, and a cleaner finished appearance. Extra pieces are included for edges and adjustments, and every shipment is carefully packed in protective wooden crates for safe transport. Whether the installation includes walls, floors, arches, fireplaces, niches, or other architectural features, our approach is designed to support a smooth installation process while maintaining the authenticity and craftsmanship of traditional Moroccan mosaics.

Care & Material Guidelines

Authentic Moroccan mosaics are crafted to last, developing character through years of everyday use. Because every tile is hand-cut, hand-glazed, and kiln-fired, natural variations in color, texture, and surface are an essential part of the material rather than imperfections.  Glazed tiles do not require a sealer. However unglazed tiles must be sealed prior to grouting and re-sealed every year to two years, depending on traffic and wear. Routine care requires only gentle cleaning with pH-neutral products and a soft cloth or sponge to preserve the glaze and finish. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may affect the surface over time. With proper installation and regular maintenance, Moroccan mosaics retain their beauty while the subtle variations of handmade craftsmanship continue to bring warmth, depth, and authenticity to every space.
